POLICE ARREST WIFE AFTER HUSBAND COMMITS SUICIDE FOR NO SEX LIFE AT ALL
Marriage can be challenging. If you’re married, or ever have been, you know this is true. It’s called life. Well, married life. But sometimes it’s more than a challenge. Sometimes, it’s deadly, usually by murder. But marital neglect has a big impact, too. And a wife in India is now under arrest for just that. Neglect. But who ever heard of a wife being arrested for a husband who commits suicide? I certainly haven’t, till now. But here it is. I’m really not sure what to make of it. I certainly can’t imagine it happening in the US, that’s for sure. Think about it. Police arrest a wife after her husband commits suicide? Because she refused to have sex with him?

HUSBAND’S MOTHER COMPLAINED TO POLICE, AND THEY ARRESTED THE DAUGHTER-IN-LAW
In a word: it’s weird. But the wife, Geeta Parmar, is in custody in Gujarat, India. Her husband, Surendrasinh, killed himself last month. When his mother complained to police that her daughter-in-law was responsible, police went and arrested her. And yes, the wife is facing criminal charges. So what could they be? It’s something I haven’t heard of before. Abetment to suicide. Say what? And even more? Geeta wasn’t even around when her husband killed himself. So sure, neglect makes a powerful impact on people’s lives and well-being. But this situation mystifies me.

And yes, I’m a married man. And no, I won’t comment on my sex life. But when it’s not there, it totally sucks. Not in a good way. So I understand how this can have a huge impact on how you feel. And these two people were married for just under two years. With no sex. And that’s pretty awful, for sure. Geeta supposedly took a vow that she would never sleep with her husband. So there’s something going on, there. I don’t know why you marry anyone you don’t want to sleep with. But so far we don’t have any details if this was an arranged marriage or something else hard to understand. But regardless, the Shaherkotda police in Ahmedabad, Gujurat, are investigating the suicide as a crime by the wife.
