So Ghislaine Maxwell is going to prison. Whoop dee doo. Normally, I’d be happy to hear this news. Because justice in this case is more than a must. But the problem is, her going to prison, likely for the rest of her life, isn’t justice. It’s the veneer of justice. And to be frank, that veneer in bright lights is essentially the penultimate when it comes to the ongoing distraction of all that’s missing. No one is talking about everyone else. And everyone else is a list of people whose exposure would literally rock the world.

So no, I’m not just talking about Prince Andrew. And while his name does appropriately end in ewww, he’s just the royal monster it’s easy to generically be disgusted by. I want to talk about the others. Some of their names we may already know; billionaires, politicians, elected officials- significant elites, one and all. They were (AND ARE) members of a very select club. Jeffrey Epstein, besides being a facilitator for their “needs,” was also a participating member. As, clearly, Ghislaine Maxwell also was. Those details are what make her conviction an easy one to appreciate. But really, it’s just a huge distraction from the rest.

Epstein knew who they all were, and we’re all supposed to accept he committed suicide, in custody, without ever using that leverage? I never knew or met Epstein, but I know he was in love with himself, way too much to achieve the needed desperation to hang himself. Again, in custody, with an incredibly random convergence of circumstances making it possible? It seems ludicrous. But it’s also clear shame wasn’t on Epstein’s emotional palette. Why would it be? He was above the law, in grand style, because of his connections. But Ghislaine also (STILL) knows who the others are. These monied, powerful people.

And yet, she’s not saying anything? She’s not parlaying that into a deal? Ghislaine Maxwell is going to prison! That’s what all the headlines say. And that’s all, all the headlines say. But clearly there’s more. Do you remember Deborah Jeane Palfrey? She was the DC Madam, who was under indictment for racketeering and money laundering. She had an extensive list of clients, which ABC News still says is uninteresting. Yet the US Supreme Court still refuses to allow her attorney to release any other information, such as her phone records. Odd, right? But hey, we’re supposed to still believe that Palfrey committed suicide by hanging herself in her mother’s woodshed.

Gee, why is it again that Ghislaine Maxwell is going meekly to prison? Or is she? Lots of recent news articles are talking about her pleading down her sentence, using her list of names as leverage. Or is that just window dressing, too?
