THE GOLDEN BOY HAMBURGER NOW THE MOST EXPENSIVE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD
Ah, the Golden Boy. So who doesn’t like hamburgers? Well, besides vegans of course, among others. But eating a really good hamburger can be like having a serious spiritual experience for most. And you can include me in that number! So I have to say that I’m more than a little curious about Robbert Jan de Veen’s creation, which is a normal size meal you can eat with just two hands. Robbert owns the Dutch diner, De Daltons. He’s the reason we now have the most expensive burger the world has ever seen, the Golden Boy.

THIS BURGER HAS LUXURIOUS DELECTABLE INGREDIENTS TO MAKE A BILLIONAIRE DROOL
Ten years ago, Juicys Outlaw Grill in Oregon had made the most expensive burger ever. But that burger came in at 777 pounds! So the Golden Boy is setting a new record based on ingredients and kitchen artistry. The ingredients include some amazing things from all over the world. These include Japanese A5 Wagyu brisket (and short ribs!), white truffles, Beluga caviar, Paleta Iberico Bellota ham. But let’s not forget the Golden Boy onion rings! They include Dom Perignon with saffron gold leaf bread, king crab and a BBQ sauce mafe from Kopi Luwak coffee as well as Macallan Single Malt (not sure what age of that last).

SOMEONE HAS ALREADY BOUGHT ONE OF THESE SPECIAL BURGERS, WILL YOU BE THE NEXT?
Robbert described the Golden Boy’s flavor as having an intense flavor profile that is also complimentary. That means a lot. But mostly that it goes well with a lot of other things. So think about what kind of libation you’d like to match this burger with! Someone has already bought the 1st Golden Boy, and the proceeds are all going to a local food bank. Oh, yeah, about those proceeds. So how much does the Golden Boy cost? Just $6,000. Darn. Maybe I’ll drown my sorrows in a BLT at home for the moment.
