Fox News is a dying network. What would a dog do when it tries to get some attention? It barks harder! That’s exactly what Fox News has done by interviewing one of the world’s most notorious killers – Syrian strongman Bashar Assad. Presidential candidate Donald Trump’s latest crazy rhetoric on evicting Muslims appears to be echoed by Fox News, the mouthpiece for the Republican Party.
Dennis Kucinich – a Democratic member of the House Of Representatives, noted Keebler spokesperson, and Fox News contributor – has for the last couple of weeks been trying to secure an interview with Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad, who has killed approximately 300,000 of his own people in the last two years thanks to a very bloody civil war. Yesterday, he got his wish.

Yes, that’s right: Fox News just interviewed Bashar al-Assad. The Syrian Twitter even made a handy little image to tweet out about the event.
Bashar was recently interviewed by the far more reputable Charlie Rose. While Kucinich is one of Fox News’s token democrats, the interview would still run on the Fox News channel, long considered the USA’s very own propaganda network. Having Syrian dictator al-Assad on their airwaves would create a veritable black hole of propaganda that could potentially tear the universe apart, with rays of hate and misinformation spewing jissum-like across the American populace. Or it could simply be a normal, decent interview with a mass-murdering former dentist.

Kucinich met with Assad in 2011, though, and pissed off a lot of people by going especially easy on the dictator, saying after his meeting that Assad was “highly loved and appreciated by the Syrians.” Which, as we now know, is not true. It is in actual fact so completely untrue that 100,000 people are actually dead specifically because al-Assad is not loved appreciated by the people of Syria. So when Kucinich says “hold on, guys, I got a handle on this!” and rushes off to Damascus to interview a dictator, the American people should be pretty worried.
Will Assad turn to the camera, put a camouflage trucker hat on, and then say “GIT R DONE”? We’ll just have to wait until the interview airs to find out.
