GOP REP. NANCY MACE GOT HEATED WITH STEPHANOPOULOS TRYING TO RAPE SANITIZE DONALD TRUMP
Ok, I’ll be honest about not being totally in tune with who GOP Rep. Nancy Mace (SC) is, politically. Or, at least, I had to remember various things about her that provided some very uncomfortable context after her contentious interview with George Stephanopoulos on the most recent edition of This Week, on ABC. Uncomfortable may be an inadequate word, considering how I’m going to lay out how it’s clear to me that she is trying to rape sanitize Donald Trump. And as a rape survivor, herself… And to be sure, Republicans in the last 15 -20 years have made quite the strategic effort to shame anyone from asking them concise questions that would out their hypocrisy soundly if they answered.

STEPHANOPOULOS SIMPLY ASKED HOW SHE COULD ENDORSE TRUMP AS A RAPE VICTIM HERSELF
So what happened? Stephanopoulos asked Mace just how it was that she could endorse Donald Trump for President after a jury found him liable for raping E. Jean Carroll, in light of the fact that she is a rape survivor, herself. Well, Mace was ready for the question, as she clearly had a strategy to avoid answering it. And the strategy? Accusing Stephanopoulos of trying to “shame” her, as a rape victim. Stephanopoulos followed up regardless, reiterating how Mace had endorsed Trump, who was liable for both rape as well as defaming his victim. Mace’s ready reply? That those verdicts weren’t relevant because they weren’t made in a criminal court’s proceeding.

In other words, Trump as a rapist isn’t real because a prosecutor never charged him with rape, never tried him in court, and never convicted him. Therefore, according to Mace, Trump isn’t a rapist and she is free to endorse him with a clear conscience, explaining that he’s the best option to lead the country. When Stephanopoulos brought up how Mace had said Trump should never hold office again after the Capitol Riot, she then explained that voters have moved on from that day, proven by how they voted for him in the GOP primaries. In other words, Republicans have moved on from the Capitol Riot.
So there you have it, folks. For the next few months, expect to see more answers like this about both Trump the Rapist and the Capitol Riot from Republicans. And shame on anyone for making them try to (not ever) answer.
