ARKANSAS HORROR STORY, AS FARMER HITS JOGGING WOMAN, THEN RAPE, THEN BURIAL
So here is a real-life monster story. Near Halloween, no less. But the real part makes this equal parts horror, outrage and the inevitable tragedy. You’ll understand why. So the woman pictured above is Sydney Sutherland. She was 25 years old. The man pictured above is Quake Lewellyn. He’s 28 years old and is a farmer. Quake is the real-life monster in this story. Because on August 19th, he hit Sydney with his pickup truck while she was jogging. He then took her to a remote location and raped her. Then, he buried her body just off a very rural road in Randolph County, Arkansas.
HE INTENTIONALLY HIT HER WITH HIS PICKUP TRUCK FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT, PRIVACY
So yes, that is a total horror story. But there’s obviously more that makes it even more disturbing. Though, to be fair, just knowing this much so far with the pictures above is quite enough. Sydney Sutherland was a nurse. When she didn’t go home after the monster farmer hit her with is truck, her boyfriend knew something was wrong. So then there was a major search on for the young woman. It included the Arkansas State Police, the FBI, as well as other agencies. People were looking for the missing woman on foot, and they used three helicopters hoping to find her alive. There was even a Facebook group that existed only to find Sydney Sutherland.
AFTER BURYING HER, RAPIST FARMER THEN JOINED FACEBOOK PAGE TO FIND HIS VICTIM
So here’s where it gets worse. Quake knew Sydney personally. So after hitting her with his pickup truck, raping and then burying her, he joined the Facebook page with all the others who wanted to find her. But the search didn’t take long. Authorities discovered her body two days after her disappearance. Then police arrested quake just hours later. They were able to see that his cellphone had been near where he had buried her body. Quake, for his part, admitted to intentionally hitting her with his pickup truck, raping and burying her body. He faces arraignment on October 29th. And with this evidence, this farmer has already bought the farm.
