So I kind of hate weddings. But that way, when I go to one, if it’s not a disaster I can feel pretty good about having gone. So it’s just as well I’m not a wedding planner. Or anything even remotely related, for that matter. But planning a wedding must be a really special skill. Yet so much is dependent on what kind of input you get from like, the bride and the groom. What they want, goes. But that goes double for the bride. What kind of flowers, foods, arrangements, venue, music, blah blah blah. But let’s not forget the look of the bridal party and what they wear. That’s huge. But speaking of huge, have you ever heard of a bride’s close friend being excluded as a bridesmaid because her boobs were just too big? Well, now you have.

But amazingly, the bride-to-be took this story to Reddit herself. So part of her knew she was, well, totally wrong. So she shared “her side” of the story there. She asked other Reddit users if she was being an asshole for excluding her friend. But most especially her friend’s boobs. She explained that she was really good friends with two women, Kristy and Erin, since they were all quite young. But the bride and Erin had grown a bit apart of late. So why didn’t she ask Erin to be her bridesmaid? The bride said, “[Kristy] told me that Erin’s feelings were hurt and then asked me why I didn’t include Erin, and I told her the truth.”

And the truth? But can you handle the truth? She continued, “Erin has MASSIVE breasts. Literally bigger than should be physiologically possible because she has a hormone disorder that caused her breasts to grow to an excessive degree.” So he friend’s big boobs stressed her out so much that she didn’t even want to think about tailoring the dress for her! But the bride was also afraid of being in her friend’s boobs’ shadow, so to speak. She was even worried the big boobs would be a distraction and that if there was ever a time for her to be selfish, it was at her own wedding.

But fortunately, users on Reddit replied with brutal honesty. She was, indeed, a total asshole about this. They nailed down the fact that this was a medical condition. Her friend had no control over it! Once said, “Trade out the issue at hand with ‘needs a wheelchair’ or ‘has a prosthetic arm’ and you’ll see the clear issue.” So the bride to be took it in stride and realized she had “failed to fully comprehend the depth of [her] a**holery.” She’s trying to meet with her friend Erin to iron it all out. No, obviously, not literally.
