9 EXPECTING MOTHERS ALL WORK TOGETHER IN MAINE HOSPITAL MATERNITY WARD
So I had to talk to my wife about this one. The idea sounds a little familiar. But This is sort of epic. Did you already know that occasionally, groups of women who spend a lot of time together end up being pregnant at the same time? Well, it’s certainly true this time. But these are all maternity nurses working in a Maine hospital! Irony never sleeps. Yet 9 different women all expecting to deliver within a few months of each other is more than a little noteworthy. I just hope there are enough qualified personnel to fill in while they are away with their newborns!

ALL 9 MOTHER TO BE NURSES WILL SHOW SUPPORT AS THEIR TURN COMES
So all these women work in the labor and delivery unit at the Maine Medical Center. The hospital recently posted a picture to Facebook of 8 of the 9 nurses with their prominent baby bumps. All the expecting mothers are pretty jazzed to be sharing this experience with each other. Nurse Erin Grenier told local media, “After each one of us started to say, ‘We’re pregnant,’ I think it was a happier announcement each time, and we’re all there for each other.” But in even more professional and personal solidarity, all 9 plan on joining each other in the delivery room(s) in a show of group support.
ALL 9 WILL HAVE THEIR BABIES BETWEEN NOW AND JULY, SO STAY TUNED!
Nurse Amanda Spear said, “It’s really nice coming to work and seeing other people who are just as pregnant and watching their bellies pop and just talking about these experiences that we are going through together.” So isn’t that kind of perfect? Don’t we all wish to have tons of support as we bring new members of the family into the world? So maybe follow or like the Maine Medical Center on Social media. There are sure to be more pics as these women deliver from now to July.
