HOWARD SCHULTZ LOOKS BEYOND SEATTLE, WANTS TO SCREW ALL OF USA NOW
Ok. If you’re not an NBA fan, you may have never heard of Howard Schultz until this week. He’s a billionaire and the former CEO of Starbucks. You’ve heard of Starbucks. Anyway, this billionaire dipshit is in the news, again, because he wants to run for president of the United States. As an independent. Which could mean the impossible nightmare becomes a breathing reality; 4 more years of Trump. So first Schultz screwed Seattle by taking away their NBA team, the Supersonics. Now, the self-involved egotist takes aim at screwing all the USA together.
SELLING HIS PERFECTLY TIMED BILLIONAIRE AUTOBIOGRAPHY TO SPLASH NAME, LAUNCH CANDIDACY
And no, that’s not hyperbole. Schultz is currently running around touting his autobiography. No, really. A billionaire wrote an autobiography. Right before he says he wants to run for president as an independent. But he was sure to devote 5 whole pages to how sorry he was for screwing over all the Seattle Supersonics fans, and the city entire. Schultz owned the Sonics for five years. When he couldn’t get the city to pay for a new arena to fix the issues the old one had, he flipped the team and sold it to new owners. But here’s the best part.
SCHULTZ PROFITS OFF THE PUBLIC, WANTS MORE AT OUR EXPENSE
When Schultz bought the Sonics for $200 million, he knew damn well that the team’s arena had some issues. When he couldn’t get local taxpayers to foot the bill, he sold the team. He says that he thought the new owners would have a better chance of getting a new local arena. But everyone knew they would move the team to Oklahoma City. That’s how the Sonics died and the Thunder were born. But the best part? Schultz sold the team for $350 million. Now that seems to be the only change he believes in. Make a buck. Hell, make $150 million. But screw the public.
Now that he wants to put his face on Mt. Rushmore, suddenly Sonics fans have some nominal value again. Maybe let’s just ask Gary Payton what he thinks of candidate Schultz, hmmmm?
