ANTHONY “THE BROW” DAVIS WANTS TRADE OUT OF NEW ORLEANS
Ok, to say this is a surprise is like standing on a surf board saying you’ll be surprised if you ever get wet. We all knew something was gonna happen. But we didn’t know when. The New Orleans Pelicans have been decidedly unimpressive in recent weeks. That losing was sure to bother the Brow. Not making the playoffs is an even better guarantee of the Brow fighting Davis’s chin. That means a crazy glower, you literal fool. So what’s gonna happen next? Well, despite the free for all that means nothing so far, we don’t have a fucking clue. Usually, nothing upends the NBA more than contract negotiations with the players’ union.

TRADE DEMAND UPENDS NBA, BUT PELICANS COULD CARE LESS
So here’s the thing. This situation with the Brow is like an even earlier trade demand by Kawhi Leonard. Kawhi did the dirty between seasons, at least. But the Brow is under contract just just thru this season, the Pelicans are slated to pay his salary thru the Spring of 2021! So the Pelicans, if they think letting things stew will get them better offers, just might do nothing at all. This year’s NBA trade deadline is next week. But the Pels just may sit and watch everyone freak out for a while first. There’s at least one report the Pels GM is ignoring his phone. Now that’s funny.

LAKERS ON THE HOT SEAT, OR CELTICS WIN THIS SUMMER?
Everyone talks about the Lakers and the Celtics about anything big in the NBA. But there’s some cause for that. In this case, the Lakers have the best immediate assets for the Brow. But Danny Ainge’s team has crazy player and picks to trade. But they have to wait till the summer, as they already have one “Rose Rule” player, Kyrie Irving. Interestingly, Irving and the Brow are buddies, so everyone is talking smack about how Irving might leave to play with Lebron again, but this time in Laker’s Gold with the Brow in tow.
So get some popcorn and expect this sales bonanza to include no sales, but a lot of pitch for a while.
