VENEZUELA SOCCER PLAYERS COME OUT ON TOP
So, soccer is the biggest sport in the world. It has more fans in more countries than any other sport. Of course, soccer is a very competitive affair. But World Cup qualifiers is another level of competition altogether. Sometimes, people do little things to gain a competitive advantage. For Venezuela, they claim hookers baited their soccer players before qualifier.
WORKING GIRLS AT HOTEL, NIGHT BEFORE QUALIFIER
The thing is, Venezuela had no chance qualifying from the pool for the South American World Cup. In fact, they were dead last in their group. But that didn’t stop shenanigans from happening! Venezuela had one last match against Paraguay, with no chance of advancement in 2018. But according to Venezuela’s manager Rafael Dudamel, there were a number of professional ladies hanging out in the hotel lobby where they were staying. Of course, this is the night before the match.
HOOKERS DISTRACTING SOCCER PLAYERS OLD SCHOOL TACTIC
Dudamel believes that the working girls had been planted there. The hookers baited his soccer players the night before the qualifier! Dudamel said: “There were several female visits last night at the hotel. But soccer players have evolved. We are not surprised with these female visits and do not know who sent them. These are old tactics.” But if the goal was to get a rise out of Venezuela’s players to make them tired the next day, the cat never got out of the bag.
HOOKERS BAITED VENEZUELA SOCCER PLAYERS, WIN UPSET ANYWAY
The day after the hookers baited Venezuela’s players, they beat Paraguay! The upset was one of the few shockers in the qualifying round. It’s a case of failure to launch before qualifier. All this drama played out, the night after the hotel, killing Paraguay’s chances of the World Cup at Estadio Defensores de Chaco in Asuncion.
