Vigilante Shoots Himself Testing Magic Gun Charm

TESTING MAGIC GUN CHARM DOESN’T STOP BULLETS

The northwest zone of Nigeria is home to many local powers.  The Local Government Area of Katsina State is home to several, including local vigilante groups.  The member of one was Nigerian vigilante member Audu Maikare.  Maikare had a brand-new gun charm he received from a sooth-sayer or fortune-teller.  But Maikare felt the need to test his gun charm.  The vigilante shoots, but he only gets himself dead. Because testing magic gun charms gets you dead!

VIGILANTE SHOOTS SELF AT VIGILANTE GET-TOGETHER

Maikare went to the home of the Nigerian vigilante group’s leader, Samaila Rabiu.  There was some kind of vigilante get-together there in the village of Dugul.  Samaila wanted to show off.  So, he put on a show testing his new magic gun charm. Then the vigilante shoots and kills himself with a dane gun.  Testing magic gun charms is never a good idea, no matter what you want to believe.  Maikare’s death was confirmed by Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Gambo Isa.  “When the police patrol team got the information on the incident and rushed to the village, Maikare had already died and taken away by his relatives for burial,’’ Isa said.

POLICE: STAY AWAY FROM GUN CHARM FORTUNE-TELLERS

The PPRO has continued to make appeals to the public to stay away from fortune-tellers, soothsayers and all other sorts of magic product purveyors.  But keeping locals away from them is challenging.  “Clients” want to have their charms and jazz to get things they want.  But like gang initiations, clients are often asked to do the magician’s bidding to get their charms.  The requests are often not innocent, at all.

FORTUNE-TELLERS TRADE CHARMS FOR CRIMES

“They are the ones who give local charms to their clients for ritual purposes in their quest for materialism and worldly things.  Sometimes, in the process they demand people to commit crimes like murder and rape,’’ Isa said.  If you find yourself testing magic charms, think twice.  If you are testing magic gun charms, don’t pull the trigger. Certainly, don’t commit a heinous crime to get the magic gun charm in the first place.  Keep that in mind if you visit Katsina State.
