TANDEM, RUSSIAN SPACECRAFT ARE STALKING BRAND NEW US SPY SATELLITE
So what in the hell is going on with this story? A senior US military commander (think, general) has told Time Magazine that there is some shady business going on hundreds of miles above our heads. What kind of shady business? The national security kind. And yes, it involves Russian, yet again. Two Russian spacecraft are working in tandem, tailing a multibillion-dollar US spy satellite. So if you care about the present, this makes our future security less certain. But it’s obvious as to why. Espionage is a part of world relations. And a LOT is happening up in orbit.

US GENERAL INFORMED TIME MAGAZINE OF NEW COLD WAR ERA SPACE STALKING
So who is the commander letting the cat out of the bag? General John Raymond. He’s in command of the brand new US Space Force. Yes, the one with the silly uniforms that make geeks happy. He has explained that these Russian spacecraft immediately started maneuvers heading towards our space satellite pretty much as soon as we launched it into orbit this past November. Both spacecraft have approached within 100 miles of it several times. But is it a cause for concern? Absolutely. The US government has already made its concerns known to Moscow, using diplomatic channels.
RUSSIAN ASSETS HAVE PLAYED DANGEROUS GAMES OF CHICKEN ON EARTH, NOT IN ORBIT TOO
But we’ve had a number of issues with Russia of late here on planet Earth. And no, I’m not referring to Trump and Putin, nor to election interference. We’ve had close encounters between our soldiers, our military jets as well as our naval vessels. But they weren’t accidents. They were all Russian games of chicken. Dangerous games. And now these games are in space as well. So why would Trump’s government announce Russian malfeasance in space? But not in our elections? Probably because the Trump Administration needs to show the need to fund the new Space Force, even as he quietly approaches privatizing Social Security and Medicare.
So this is a heads up. In more ways than one.
