(SOME) REPUBLICANS ARE NOW SAYING IT OUT LOUD: WE DON’T NEED WOMEN VOTERS
I have to note as I start writing this that I’m a heterosexual, Caucasian male. So my opinions about women sexually, culturally, socially and politically are pretty standard fare. At least, that is, considering a fairly inclusive and equal perspective. And what I mean by that is I think women should be given every consideration that men are. Or, perhaps, a few more, considering it’s women who can get pregnant (by men), carry a child to term, and then have to suffer some form of delivery. But Republicans these days don’t seem to like value women equally so much, and it’s gotten so bad one of them just said it out loud: we don’t need women.

ONE COULD ARGUE THAT MATT GAETZ DOESN’T NEED WOMEN, BUT HE SURE SEEMS TO NEED GIRLS
The Republican who went there -and I should offer the caveat of went there publicly- was none other than odious opportunist Matt Gaetz. And yes, you may just recall some questionable history involving women and Matt Gaetz. And while he didn’t precisely say “we (Republicans) don’t need women,” he really kind of did. Out loud and everything. It was just yesterday on Newsmax, when he told the host Carl Higbie in terms of voters that “for every Karen we lose, there’s a Julio and a Jamal ready to sign up for the MAGA movement.” So what exactly does this mean? We. Don’t. Need. Women.

In other words, Republicans pissing women off over an increasing lack of right to choose, association with Donald Trump, fawning of Donald Trump, just doesn’t matter to them at the ballot box for election in 2024. Sorry ladies, we pissed you off because women keep dying or become sterile when denied medically necessary abortions? Or underaged girls who were raped (even by an immediate family member)? See you later. We don’t need you or to kowtow to treating you with any respect. And, we’re going to say it out loud so you can hear us clearly.
Because somehow, Mat Gaetz and his fellow Republicans seem convinced that for each of the women they lose as a voter, they’ll be replaced with two minority men. Though, truth be told I only personally know a total of one Julio and not a single Jamal at the moment. I hope all the women out there are paying attention, and vote accordingly.
