Woman Busted Trafficking Cocaine Behind Fake Baby Bump

NORTH CAROLINA WOMAN TRIED TO MOVE COCAINE HIDDEN BEHIND FAKE BABY BUMP

Shame doesn’t seem to be a factor when it comes to some criminals and what they’re willing to do when it comes to their criminal acts.  And this little story takes that dynamic to another level.  No, no one was abused or otherwise molested or harmed.  But man, I can’t imagine a judge being too lenient in this case.  A North Carolina woman was cold busted when she tried trafficking cocaine.  That’s not terribly interesting or new.  But this woman was trafficking cocaine hidden behind a fake baby bump.  In other words, she looked pregnant but wasn’t.  It was a fake pregnancy bump filled with not a bundle of joy, but nose candy.

FAKE BABY BUMP WAS HIDING 1.5 KILOS OF NOSE CANDY, BUT CAT WAS OUT OF THE BAG FAST

And when I say nose candy, I mean over 1,500 grams of cocaine.  That there is more than enough to send you behind bars for more than a smattering of days.  The fake baby bump came to light from sheer bad luck.  The woman was in a car with her partner when police pulled them over for a traffic stop.  For whatever reason (priors, warrants?), the woman tried to run from police when the car stopped.  And that’s when her hidden nose candy slipped out of her fake baby bump for all to see.  I guess you could call that an aborted drug run.  Well, except that it was the run that gave up the chase, as it were.

COPS ASKED WHEN THE BABY WAS DUE, AND WOMAN WITH FAKE BABY BUMP TOOK OFF

The nose candy had been taped into the inside of the fake baby bump.  But alas, anyone who watched Macgyver knows that you can’t ever use too much tape to be safe.  The cops got suspicious before she ran when they asked simple questions like when is the baby due, and the woman and her partner answered at the same time and didn’t say the same month.  That’s when the woman, Cemeka Mitchem, bolted from the car and lost the nose candy to bad running form and insuffient tape.  She and her partner, Anthony Miller, now face charges of trafficking cocaine.

And having no shame, of course.
