Just Why Did Kyle Rittenhouse Totally Disappear?

WHAT MADE KYLE RITTENHOUSE JUST UP AND TOTALLY DISAPPEAR FROM HIS JOB AND SOCIAL MEDIA?

Back in 2020 the then-teenager Kyle Rittenhouse crossed into Wisconsin and killed (but not murdered, legally it seems) two protestors at a Black Lives Matter event.  And if you recall, he killed them with an AR-15 assault rifle.  Which you should also remember is an incredibly efficient killing machine, and as such all too often the weapon of choice for people who engage in mass shootings.  Now, nearly five years later, we’ve heard things from time to time about the no-longer-teenaged Rittenhouse.  Not surprisingly, he’s been making money off his name; there’s a market for that… But this week, Kyle Rittenhouse has made some effort to totally disappear.  I’m somewhat curious to know why.

RITTENHOUSE HAS MADE SOME GOOD MONEY ON THE NAME HE MADE KILLING TWO PEOPLE AT BLM EVENT

You might think this is a frivolous curiosity to pursue.  But Kyle Rittenhouse made his identity choice all too clearly when he went to “defend” either himself or the idea of the country he loved when he killed those two people in Wisconsin.  And after, when he was absolved of committing any crime, he capitalized on his notoriety.  After all, he’s become more than a casual folk hero to conservatives and gun enthusiasts.  I mean, as of just this past February, he was working at Gulf Coast Gun & Outdoors in Milton, Florida, giving his fans the opportunity to come on down and buy a gun (or guns, plural) from him personally.

FORMER BOSS SAYS RITTENHOUSE IS “FINE,” NOW DOING SOMETHING HE’S “PASSIONATE ABOUT”

But this week he’s simply disappeared.  He quit working at the gun shop and then abruptly closed his social media accounts.  Poof, he’s gone.  He had also been doing promotions for Armor Republic’s body armor kits.  Now, those kits are no longer on sale on its site.  Kyle Rittenhouse just up and disappeared.  And he is no longer selling products off of his (not good) name, anywhere.  But his old boss from the gun shop told media that (Rittenhouse), “He’s perfectly fine- doing something he’s passionate about.”  Unfortunately, he wouldn’t “elaborate” on what that meant.

Considering he killed two people the last time he was passionate about something, it’s a little concerning.
