Cop Shoots Old, Blind “Rabid” Family Dog in Front of Kids

MISSOURI COP SHOOTS BLIND, 13LB FAMILY DOG AFTER ASSUMING IT WAS “RABID”

It’s hard to have any sympathy for police officers who conduct themselves in disgusting, torrid fashion.  And that’s the only way to explain the behavior of the cop who shot a blind, old, grand total of 13lb pound family dog.  And, he did it in front of the very kids he claims he was trying to protect.  The dog wasn’t doing anything menacing.  But it may have looked like it was behaving a little oddly, probably due to the fact that the dog was blind.  And this cop, Sturgeon Police Department Officer Myron Woodson, thought the best thing to do was to shoot the dog.  Because it takes a brilliant detective to make that immediate leap to pulling the trigger.

BLIND FAMILY DOG WASN’T MENACING OR THREATENING, IT WAS JUST MOVING AROUND BLIND

Someone called the SPD saying there was an injured animal at large.  Which is a pretty general statement that could mean anything.  But mostly it means someone thought there was a dog walking around that needed help.  So the SPD dispatched Trigger-Happy-Myron-Woodson to investigate.  Upon arriving at the scene, which really means a residential neighborhood, Woodson determined that the dog had rabies and he should shoot it.  But oddly, he told the owner Nick Hunter, “I see a dog that is walking around blindly.”  But then he says, “I don’t know the dog is blind.”

APPARENTLY, COPS CAN SHOOT ANY ANIMAL, ESPECIALLY A FAMILY DOG, IF THEY FEEL THREATENED

Ok, trigger happy cop Woodson.  You see a small, shih-tzu walking around like it’s blind, but you don’t know it’s blind?  And then you make the leap that it’s rabid while it’s not threatening someone?  And then shoot the poor family dog in someone’s back yard after supposedly being unable to catch a blind dog?  Uh, ok.  When the poor, blind dog’s owner challenged him, Woodson replied, “I don’t enjoy shooting dogs,” and, “What am I supposed to do we don’t have freaking animal control?”  Well, let me see here.  Maybe don’t immediately choose to discharge your weapon at a defenseless, small and blind family pet?
