PROF HID LOCATION TO $50 CASH IN COURSE SYLLABUS, BUT BAD READERS NEVER SAW IT!
So higher education sure ain’t what it used to be, no sirree. I’d add another preface, like, kids these days. But that would make me sound even older and more judgmental. Sure, it’s been just a bit of time since I had my days as an undergraduate. But as much as I had trouble organizing my scholastic work time, I always read the syllabus. But one college Prof at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga had himself one doozy of an experiment. He hid $50 somewhere on campus. And all you had to do was read the damn syllabus to find the money. But he had a bad class of bad readers. No one took the money?

So maybe not bad readers. We’re talking about no readers at all. Personally, I remember reading syllabi to make sure there were no hidden catches. Like, a small assignment that counted for a lot. If you didn’t read the syllabus, your hopes for an A disappeared under your regrets for student loans. And the random college prof would give you hints about the kinds of things you should focus on. But how about a free $50 bucks? And all you had to do was read the syllabus? Never mind. I’m gonna say it with a shake of my old man head. Kids these days.

COLLEGE PROF WAITED UNTIL THE VERY END OF SEMESTER, ONLY TO FIND CASH STILL THERE
The College prof was one Kenyon Wilson. He teaches in the performing arts program. His experiment, as I’ve described it so far, will only make you shake your head more, too. He hid the cash prize in a locker, which is a logical place at a university. And, it had a combination lock on it. The information about the locker’s location, as well as the lock combo, were deep into the syllabus. But Wilson made his experiment a real one! He waited until the very end of the semester to check his hidden stash of cash. And to his (I’m assuming ) dismay, it was still there.
