Regardless of your age, gender, sexual preference or personality, you have a whole smorgasbord to choose from at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival. The topics include addiction, the arts, comedy, crime, the environment, politics, rock ’n roll, sci-fi, sports, technology and women’s issues, and they span a wide spectrum of international culture, from Jewish to Asian to French. The films also spotlight a new group of female directors, first-time directors and New York directors.

TheBlot will bring you the reviews and interviews. As of now, the film guide and schedule are live. For those who live in the tri-state area or are visiting, tickets are still available for many of the films. The guide includes times and corresponding Manhattan theaters.

Titles include Gia Coppola’s “Palo Alto,” which stars Emma Roberts and James Franco, the rockumentary “Super Duper Alice Cooper,” “Every Secret Thing” starring “Twilight” alums Dakota Fanning and Nikki Reed, who also appears in two more movies: “Intramural” and “Murder of a Cat.”

The stars include Rory Culkin in a dark tale of mental illness and obsession called “Gabriel.” Glenn Close stars with Frank Langella in “5 to 7,” and “Chef” includes an A-list cast including Jon Favreau, John Leguizamo, Sofia Vergara, Robert Downey, Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Oliver Platt and Dustin Hoffman.

I’m not a sports fan —  at all — but I’m particularly looking forward to the movie “Champs,” which stars Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield. (Hey, has everybody seen the Footlocker commercial where Mike brings Evander back his ear?)

You can catch Adrien Brody, Olivia Wilde and Liam Neeson in love stories; America Ferrera in a character-driven modern “Big Chill” called “X/Y”; and Leighton Meester in “Life Partners” (Meester happens to be real-life partners with costar Adam Brody). Then there is the much-awaited “Keep the Lights On,” starring Jonathan Lithgow and Alfred Molina as an elderly gay couple.

OK, gotta run. Movies to see! Stars to interview! Stay tuned…
