Cancelled 60 Minutes CBS Piece Aired In Canada, Is Floating Around Online

CANCELLED 60 MINUTES PIECE “INSIDE CECOT” SOMEHOW AIRED BY MISTAKE IN CANADA

You may have heard about how CBS cancelled the 60 Minutes piece, “Inside CECOT,” literally hours before it was set to air.  The piece, as you may already surmise, is about Venezuelan migrants that the United States deported to El Salvador’s CECOT prison.  The call was made by Bari Weiss, the new head of CBS, who said (essentially) that the piece needed “more reporting.”  Many people working at CBS are considering quitting over this cancellation, with CBS essentially becoming a “stenographer” for the Trump Administration.  I want to watch it.  You should, too.  Fortunately, it’s floating around online, after it mistakenly still aired in Canada.

CBS WILL BE AGGRESSIVE IN TAKING DOWN ANY AVAILABLE STREAMS IN THE COMING DAYS

Yes, seriously, someone forgot to cross all their T’s and Inside CECOT appeared on the Global-TV app in Canada.  I would bet that it’s already gone, considering the rising stakes to bury the piece.  It’s not like Paramount-Skydance isn’t going to freak out telling Canada’s Corus to take care of it FAST.  But it aired, which means the cat is out of the bag.  Currently, I found a direct link to it in Youtube (Canada), which you can find here (for now, using a VPN).  But that link likely also has a brief half-life, as multiple locations it used to be (briefly) on U.S. IPs were gone in hours or minutes.  60 Minutes will be playing aggressive whack-a-mole.

BUT THE CANCELLED 60 MINUTES PIECE IS IMPORTANT TO WATCH, SO HISTORY DOESN’T REPEAT (AGAIN)

But this is clearly an important piece to watch, as some have a clear desire to make sure we don’t see what happened to the people the Donald Trump sent to CECOT.  Unfortunately, that censorious desire is shared by the new brass at CBS.  But I suggest searching for it.  Even if you aren’t able to find it in the U.S., you should still be able to hunt it down relatively easily for maybe a day or so by using a VPN to access Canada hosting.  But after a few days, the cancelled CBS piece “Inside CECOT” will either be a legal quagmire to host, or (hopefully) it will eventually be everywhere.
Hey, America sent people to another country to be tortured, again.  If we’re going to prevent this from becoming a tradition, we need to be informed by reporting like Inside CECOT.
