Voila Luxury to Relish the Better Condiments

VOILA LUXURY OF BETTER CONDIMENTS

I once asked a friend what he was eating.  It looked like a ketchup and relish sandwiched piece of toast.  And wouldn’t you know, his response was that it was a toast sandwich.  He would toast a slice of bread, put the toast between two slices of non-toasted bread and then layer his favorite condiments and eat it.  He spoke about the benefits of awesome condiments making something you don’t have taste like something you wished you had. But it was college and most people I knew cooked spaghetti with ketchup and voila luxury! But there are better condiments out there than ketchup and relish.  You can relish in Vegemite, tartar sauce, horseradish, chutney, awesome mustard, tahini, hot sauce, aioli, hoisin sauce, sriracha, salsa, jam, and jelly.

VEGEMITE IN EVERY BITE TO RELISH

I know people and you know people who visited the UK when coming of age and they for whatever reason beg people to send them vegemite.  They really like to relish in eating this salty craziness.  But hey, it’s a better condiment than some of the crap I have in my fridge.  Every bite of vegemite may be better than the stuff at the back of my fridge that’s growing eyes.

TARTAR MY HORSERADISH YOU CHUTNEY

Tartar sauce is wicked addictive to some people.  They even dip their fries in that stuff.  And really, it’s for fish.  But hey, voila luxury if you can’t buy the fancy fish.  Instead you can pretend.  It’s like icing on the cake without the cake.  Horseradish can also be particular.  Crazy hot.  If it’s too hot get yourself some chutney.  And there are so many chutney’s out there to relish in and enjoy.  It’s really the better condiment by far.

MUSTARD TAHINI IN MY HOT SAUCE

Not really, that would be gross.  But there are amazing mustards out there.  People devote entire blogs to mustard.  They get crazy about it.  And tahini you can do so much with.  Ta-da!  Some people find hot sauce the better condiment that they’ll drink it and then their ass is literally on fire.  And they relish in that.  I don’t know why.  But hey, voila luxury….

HOISIN SAUCING AIOLI TO SALSA AND JAM TONIGHT?

When I discovered hoisin sauce I almost died and went to heaven.  I loved to relish in my hoisin sauce meals.  So, yummy.  I never ate it in a condiment sandwich.  But I’ll try because it’s a better condiment than ketchup.  But there are good ketchups out there too, I just haven’t really tasted them yet.  Aioli on fries and salsa once a week for most people works nicely.  And the jam and jelly on so much it’s crazy. But hands down one of the best condiments to relish in is sriracha.  That stuff is hot.
