LATEST KAREN GETS BLACK MAN ARRESTED ON COMMUTER TRAIN OVER HOW HE WAS SITTING
Another day, and another Karen episode. But the latest Karen is over the top, even in these strange days. And while sometimes Karens have been known to essentially “swat” black people with complaints that police have to then sort out, there are other times when the police have nothing to sort out other than their own inherent racist approach. And boy (irony), was this the latter. Because this time, an older white woman got a black man arrested because she didn’t like his seated posture on a commuter train. That’s all it took for the police to arrest him!
WHEN HE REFUSED TO CHANGE HIS POSTURE, THE LATEST KAREN WENT TO THE CONDUCTOR
This happened last week on an MTA train, a Metro North train headed to Connecticut from New York City, to be precise. And the black man this time happened to be someone you may have heard of. His name is Alex O’Keefe, and he’s an award winning screenwriter known for his work on “The Bear.” O’Keefe was sitting on the train like people do when an older white woman told him to change how he was sitting. Now, I don’t know if he was man-spreading or what. But even if he was, there’s nothing wrong with that unless he’s wearing a Borat speedo. O’Keefe naturally refused, so this latest Karen went to the conductor.

And then? Then, the conductor called the police and stopped the train! And then, as everyone waited for the police to get there, this latest Karen told O’Keefe, “You’re not the minority anymore.” I have no idea what that even means, aside that it only clarifies how much this was about race. But when the police arrived, they told O’Keefe to leave the train without even talking to the latest Karen! In other words, a call came in on a black man and that’s all the police needed to know. O’Keefe refused to leave, and the police arrested him and questioned him on the platform. But they knew enough to let him go when he demanded a lawyer and noted how they didn’t even speak to the latest Karen at all.
