NOW A BOEING 737 CAUGHT FIRE ON THE GROUND IN SENEGAL, INJURING 10 PASSENGERS
Well, at this point the negative and disturbing news about Boeing just seems to fall from the sky like… rain. And it’s becoming a bit of a downpour, to be honest. You probably heard that a Boeing whistleblower died recently. But you may not realize that in fact two Boeing whistleblowers died recently. One supposedly committed suicide the same day he was to give more information. The other died just a week ago after mysteriously coming down with a staph infection, the kind that antibiotics can’t fix. While that may be coincidental manna from heaven for Boeing executives, it leaves us wondering what will happen next. And as for next? Another Boeing plane is in the news, this time a 737 that caught fire and injured 10 passengers.

WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF BOEING 737 CAUGHT FIRE AFTER TAKEOFF?
The Boeing 737 was carrying 85 people onboard and skidded on a runway in Senegal, catching fire. One passenger said “Our plane just caught fire” before it even took off. Clearly it’s better that this tragedy didn’t happen in the air…. Just imagine how bad this situation could have been otherwise, with the fire injuring 10 people while the plane was still on the ground. The 10 injured received treatment at a hospital, while other passengers ended up at a hotel to rest. Boeing, as is so often the case, referred any questions to the airline.

WITH 3 BOEING INCIDENTS THIS WEEK, REMEMBER THAT 2 BOEING WHISTLEBLOWERS JUST DIED
But this Boeing 737 fire isn’t all that happened recently. This week saw two other incidents, with one bursting a tire while landing in Turkey (causing major flight diversions) and the other was a Boeing FedEx Express plane needing to make an emergency landing (also in Turkey: Istanbul) after it’s front landing gear didn’t work properly. All in all, this is a lot of concerning news about Boing. And did I mention that two different Boeing whistleblowers about plane safety died recently?
There will clearly be more Boeing news, and soon.
