LONG ISLAND TEEN GIRL FINDS FIRST OF MANY HUMAN BODY PARTS WALKING TO SCHOOL
This is a pretty unusual and gruesome story. A teenaged girl was walking to school in Long Island when she found a man’s left arm in a Park. I can only imagine her reaction at the time. She called her dad, who quickly then called the police via 911. The cops, you might imagine, came immediately to the scene and searched the area. And that’s when the story takes an even more gruesome turn, as the police found human body parts strewn all over the park. Bits, pieces, another arm -the right one from the same victim- only 20 feet from its partner.

POLICE CADAVER DOGS FOUND HUMAN BODY PARTS BELONGING TO TWO VICTIMS ACROSS PARK
Like some scene from a story on film, police scoured the park to find the human body parts, including a head that had been cut off the body. Apparently, all of these bits and pieces belonged to two victims, a man and a woman. For some reason, the man’s body parts were all on the eastern side of the park, while the woman’s were on the western. Police used cadaver dogs to help find all the bits strewn everywhere. The woman’s head, arm and a leg were hidden in a mound of leaves. The details of the rest haven’t been made available.

POLICE ARE UNDERSTANDABLY ASSUMING BODY PARTS FROM TWO PEOPLE IS A MURDER INVESTIGATION
Apparently, all the human body parts of the two victims had been left there within hours or a day before the poor teen girl on the way to school came across the man’s tattooed left arm. As you might expect, authorities are treating the situation as a murder investigation. Hopefully, there will be details to follow about suspects identified and then arrests made. For now, I only hope that the poor teen girl isn’t too traumatized from what had been a familiar, safe walk to school.
