ICE WARRANTS LITERALLY DON’T HAVE ANY LEGAL AUTHORITY OVER AMERICAN CITIZENS

Well, I suppose you’ve heard about the happenings in Minnesota and, well, all over the United States. It’s all about ICE, and not the natural kind that is a basic truth of what happens to almost all water when the temperature goes below freezing. Instead, it’s about ICE, which we are learning more and more about every hour that goes by. They’re thugs, incompetent, not acting legally, and have shot no les than 4 people in the last week. They’re drunk on the sense of their own power, and are like a mad horse with a legal bit in its mouth. But it turns out their legal authority is pretty damn narrow. In fact, ICE warrants don’s mean a damn thing for U.S. citizens.

But ICE the mad horse is bucking around like it’s a rabid bull in a ring with trapped, helplessly lame clowns. Yet ICE, aside from it’s wanton brutality and lawless actions, is dependent on our ignorance to get away with it all. According to 8 U.S. Code § 1357, ICE thugs can only arrest a U.S. citizen without a warrant under very specific conditions: the thug is actively performing their immigration duties, the U.S. citizen in question is breaking federal law, and the federal lawbreaker will escape before the ICE thug(s) can get a warrant. That’s, ah, thin ice to sprint on, legally.

ICE WARRANTS, OR ADMINISTRATIVE WARRANTS, ARE LITERALLY SIGNED BY ICE THEMSELVES

So what has ICE been doing so far, besides consistently lying to justify their actions? They’ve been using administrative warrants signed by their bosses, ICE officials. That’s because, according to immigration attorney Sarah Owings, “ICE has no administrative warrant powers over U.S. citizens.” That means ICE is literally giving itself permission to do whatever the hell it wants to to anyone, including U.S. citizens. But if an ICE agent shows you an ICE warrant and you’re a U.S. citizen, it literally means nothing, legally. ICE is absolutely, totally dependent on you not knowing that.

But if you do have an interaction with ICE, be sure to record it, even keeping it on the DL. Because we know, with dozens if not hundreds of examples at this point, that ICE will lie. I mean, come on, the lies this week went all they way to POTUS.
