What’s The Deal With The FBI Epstein Jail “Raw Footage?”

“RAW FOOTAGE” FBI RELEASED FROM WHEN EPSTEIN COMMITTED SUICIDE IN JAIL ISN’T RAW AT ALL

To start, this isn’t a conspiracy-laced commentary or the like.  But it is a bit of a query, given the history of recent years and Jeffrey Epstein.  You might remember that he -according to authorities- somehow managed to commit suicide while in custody in a New York jail.  And you might remember that this -according to authorities- fact was an incredibly convenient circumstance for anyone who may have done some illegal things with underaged girls in association with Epstein.  And those “anyone’s” could be an extensive list.  So it’s interesting to hear that there are some weird questions about the “raw footage” the FBI just released from when Epstein was in jail, and committed suicide.  So what’s the deal?

WHAT WAS THE FBI THINKING IN RELEASING FOOTAGE THAT IS ANYTHING BUT THE RAW ORIGINAL?

Awkward, to say the least, considering that Kash Patel and Dan Bongino run today’s FBI.  You know, former major MAGA influencers, who used to say that Jeffrey Epstein’s suicide death in jail was suspicious?  Because, obviously, now they say it wasn’t suspicious at all, and that of course Epstein killed himself before being faced with a trial.  But if the FBI releasing this “raw footage” was supposed to make awkward questions go away, it’s likely to do the exact opposite.  Why?  Because the footage is anything but raw, which fact would make even the most topically agnostic sit up with curious interest.

THE “RAW FOOTAGE” IS SO PROCESSED, IT’S PRACTICALLY A WELL-DONE STEAK

But I was already interested, and thought this would be interesting as another mere footnote in the Epstein underage sex trafficking for rich and famous male friends saga.  Instead, the “raw footage” was not a direct copy from the prison’s surveillance system.  It was modified with a professional editing tool, either Adobe Premiere Pro or something similar.  And the “raw footage” came from at least two different source clips, was saved a number of times, was exported, and then finally uploaded to the Department of Justice’s website.  And that’s what the FBI presented as “raw footage.”  So what’s the deal with that?

Maybe nothing, considering the formal language issues with government leadership these days.  It really could be as simple as acute daftness.  But on the other hand, it could be a brazen, intentional falsehood, saying there’s no story anymore.  But in terms of this aspect of the Epstein case, if federal authorities really want us to stop talking about it anymore, they really do need to release the actual, original footage from the jail that Epstein committed suicide in.
