ONTARIAN MAN LOSES COOL, GETS ARRESTED FOR ASSAULT WITH A SNOWBLOWER
Winter isn’t coming; the darn season is more than already here. And if you’re in the northeast tonight, you already well know just how insanely cold it is. But the further north you go (on this side of the Equator, anyway) the colder it gets. And a few hour drive north of where I am it’s even colder than I care to imagine, and I was just outside. But north of me has also gotten a lot more snow this winter season already, too. And I don’t know if it’s the cold or the snow or both, but tempers for some are fraying. Because an Ontarian man (aka a man from Ontario, Canada), just got arrested and is facing charges for assault…. with a snowblower!

ASSAULT WITH SNOWBLOWER HAPPENED IN SAULT STE. MARIE, CANADA
First off, I can’t think of anyone I know who even owns a snowblower. But then I have to wonder, how could anyone assault anyone else using a snowblower? Run them over? Well, in this case, apparently not. But like many assaults that happen, this one stemmed from an argument that turned…. snowy. Because a 57-year-old man lost his, ah, cool, and used his snowblower to blast snow all over his “victim,” who he apparently knows, according to police. The argument, snowblower and snowblowing at a human target happened on the Canadian side of Sault Ste. Marie, which is right across the border and waterway from it’s American Michigan sister city of the same name.

But it seems the victim wasn’t having it, not one bit, and contacted police to report the snowblower assault. Police then engaged in a brief manhunt and apprehended the snowblowing Ontarian assaulter for arrest. But I must say I can’t help but wonder at how this will go in court. Will everyone be serious about this apparent travesty? I reckon so. But I expect they will also be seriously polite, eh? Because clearly some kind of a line was crossed here. Yet I can’t help but wonder what kind of insult the accused suffered to totally lose his cool like that. And not, there were no injuries related to the assault.
