UTTER TOOL COMMITS ASSAULT ON PRISON GUARD WHILE LEAVING PRISON, AT FRONT DOOR
If you can’t do the time, don’t do the crime (especially while leaving prison). Unless you are a total idiot, which means it might be better for all of us if you just keep doing the crime so we can all rest assured you do the time. The young idiot in question this time is a young man named Marcus Colon, a 23-year-old from Stamford, Connecticut. Young Marcus had just finished up a 9-month stint at the Bridgeport Correctional Center when, literally on his way out the door, he made a choice that led him straight back in. He commits assault on an officer!
YOUNG IDIOT JUST COULDN’T BEAR TO LEAVE, NEEDED LAST WORD
Marcus had been behind bars for reported multiple accounts of larceny. The very day he completed his 9-month sentence he was summarily called out of his cell to start his way out to freedom. That all went fine, all the way to the front doors of the facility until one of the guards offered a piece of advice to the young Colon. The guard said, ‘Don’t come back.” Well, how dare that guard! So, Marcus, barely into his first minute leaving prison after serving his time, immediately turned around and started swinging at the advice giver.

So that went over about as well as one could really expect. Quite a number of correctional officers then quickly subdued Colon, using pepper spray, and then proceeded to drag the damn fool back to the cell that had just been vacated. The young man commits assault and was later arrested, again, but this time for interfering with an officer, for assaulting a public safety officer. There was also breach of peace and disorderly conduct.
I DON’T THINK THAT WORD MEANS WHAT YOU THINK IT MEANS
It just might be worth noting, however, this constant use of the word “Correctional.” This was a correctional facility. These were correctional officers and personnel. We just might want to revisit how often this word has been included in the nomenclature of prisons and jails. I don’t think the word means what they think it means.
