Wedding Fun Starts with Egyptian Groom Shot in Balls

EGYPTIAN GROOM SHOT IN BALLS CELEBRATING HIS LAST NIGHT SINGLE

We’ve all heard various horror stories about weddings turning into disasters of one sort or another.  Missing people in the wedding party, sickness, weather, acts of God, rowdy guests, feuds and fights have all been common issues for almost everyone.  Weddings are, in fact, a production event no matter where you go or what culture the ceremony is delivered in.  But different cultures can have very different ways of celebration at weddings.  Some cultures celebrate by shooting off their weapons.  It is, of course, called celebratory gunfire.  But for one wedding recently, the celebratory gunfire ended up with an Egyptian groom shot in balls.

CONSUMMATE FOOL LEAVES COUPLE AT A LOSS FOR CONSUMMATION

The Egyptian groom, Osman al-Alsaied, is a 28-year old guy who was celebrating his last evening being single with friends and guests was shot by a reveler who somehow shot him instead of aiming the gun into the air.  And that would be a shotgun, no less.  Osman ended up having very serious injuries to his testicles, his thigh as well as his hand and was taken immediately to the hospital.  Egyptian police who commented on the matter said a 26-year-old guest was negligent in how he fired the celebrating shotgun blast.  The unnamed idiot fled the scene shortly after shooting the groom but was found and arrested to face questioning.

MANY REACT WITH HORROR AND ANGER, CALLING FOR CELEBRATORY GUNFIRE BAN

As reports of the groom not having a ball by getting shot in his balls spreads on social media, many are reacting strongly which is understandable.  This is slightly more than a small wedding snafu.  Many are commenting in no uncertain terms that it is, at last, time for this wedding firing of guns in public celebration to end and be banned.  One Twitter user asked, “If you did this while expressing your happiness, what would you have done if you were angry or upset?”  Of course, this is not the first time this has happened in Egypt.  It was just recently that something similar occurred, just a month ago according to Stepfeed.

But at least there are no reports of the groom suffering particularly grievous wounds, though he needed surgery and hospital care.  So far no one has done an update to see how the wedding night went, not how long it took to really have one.
