POLICE PERPLEXED OVER SUNK DRIVERS IGNORING SINKHOLE WARNING SIGNS
Do you remember the early days of people driving with automatic maps on their phones? The accidents from people not using common sense ranged from satirical fun to appalling tragedy. But what about normal common sense that doesn’t involve giving your will over to a stupid AI? I mean, when I’m driving and see a warning sign for anything I tend to pay attention. But I must say that I’ve never seen warning signs for a sinkhole. I’ve certainly never ignored one! But for a few California drivers, their sense of self is literally sunk after doing just that.

And, let’s just say that the local police aren’t all that happy with the consummate foolishness making their jobs even harder. Because the sinkhole was no joke! It was a 15-foot-wide hole in the ground that opened up a month ago near Tracy in the San Joaquin County, California. Police placed warning signs warning of the danger well in advance of the road canyon that sits beyond. And so far, two brilliant minds tried their luck trying to cross the gap. And it may as well have been the Grand Canyon, considering the results.

POLICE POSTED PHOTOS OF CARS EATEN BY SINKHOLE, IMPLORED OTHERS TO OBEY SIGNS
Police posted their shock and professional horror with pics of the first sunk driver in a sinkhole last week, saying, “THIS CAN’T BE REAL!” But clearly, people pay just as much attention to Facebook as they do sinkhole warning signs. Because one good idiot deserves another. So police had to post another set of pictures again, with the caption, “It happened again. We can’t make this stuff up.” But who know? At this point, if enough idiots keep getting sunk in the sinkhole, eventually they’ll fill it up and repairs can go even faster.
Just imagine traffic court and dealing with that citation in public….
