US Vet, Bomb Victim, Get First Ever Cock and Balls Transplant

US SERVICE MEMBER, BOMB VICTIM, RECEIVES NEW MALE PACKAGE IN EPIC TRANSPLANT

Doctors have made history again!  There have been a couple penis transplants in the past.  But that’s completely different that re-attaching your own severed member.  A transplant is when they give you someone else’s penis.  But for the first time ever, doctors have successfully transplanted a penis and scrotum.

Franks and Beans!  Aka cock and balls.  The surgery was done by a surgical team in Baltimore at the John Hopkins Hospital.  The patient is a man who lost not just is legs, but his penis and testicles to a bomb in Afghanistan.  But now, this bomb victim hopes to live a more complete life with a new package deal.

14 HOUR SURGERY GIVES MAN NEW COCK AND BALLS, NEW LEASE ON FULLER LIFE

The surgery took 14 hours to complete on March 26 of this year.  The first ever procedure is a vascularized composite allotransplantation.  That means they took a single piece of flesh, weighing almost 5 pounds and measuring 10 inches across, and attached it to the patient.

The patch of flesh included a penis, a partial abdominal wall and a scrotum, but no testicles.  It came from a deceased donor.  So the surgeons faced the challenge of moving and attaching all the connections and plumbing.  The transplant includes the skin, nerves, tendons, muscles and of course the all-important blood vessels.

UNNAMED VET FEELS ALMOST WHOLE AGAIN AFTER LOSS OF LEGS AND MANHOOD

The patient will remain anonymous, for obvious reasons.  When serving a tour in Afghanistan, a bomb blew apart his legs below the knees, but shrapnel also destroyed his manhood.  The latter has been a challenge for the man to handle.  In an interview with the New York Times, the man said, “That injury, I felt like it banished me from a relationship.  Like, that’s it, you’re done, you’re by yourself for the rest of your life. I struggled with even viewing myself as a man for a long time.”  But now that he’s had the surgery, he feels whole again.  Considering that he is still missing his legs, that’s quite a step.

HOPE THAT TRANSPLANTED PACKAGE WILL BE FULLY FUNCTIONAL IN ALL WAYS

Doctors hope the man will have full use of the penis.  Being able to pee, have an erection and even achieve an orgasm.  But this veteran is not alone as a bomb victim.  Service members who served in Iraq and Afghanistan also suffered similar injuries.

Over 400 of them, in fact.  How scary is that?  So this could mark a new beginning for many of these poor souls.  But these doctors clearly have some balls of their own.  Bravo!
