Who doesn’t love yummy balls.  Bouncy balls, like basketball or soccer is fun and eventful.  But sweet balls you can put in your mouth are the best. Country legend Trisha Yearwood, sings as well as  bakes.  And there is nothing better than her sweet balls. Well, she calls them power balls. After you eat a few of these, you will have the power to make more…balls. So grab a pair!  Here’s the Sweet Power Balls recipe!

GET THESE INGREDIENTS AND START CREATING MAGIC

To make thirty power balls, you will need the following ingredients:

2 cups of old-fashioned rolled oats

1 cup extra-crunchy peanut butter

½ cup raw honey

½ cup mini chocolate chips

2 tablespoons of flax seeds

½ cup dried cranberries

½ cup sunflower seeds

ELBOW GREASE OR A FOOD PROCESSOR

So you can use a food processor, or get some elbow grease going and learn how to grind.  But understand that the ingredients need to be smooth. Pulse the oats, peanut butter, honey, chocolate chips, cranberries, sunflower seeds and flax seeds (packed with Omega 3 fatty acids) until smooth and completely combined.  Once this is done, you should cover them and refrigerate for thirty minutes. This recipe of sweet power balls is going to be yummy!

SWEET POWER BALLS RECIPE SUPER FAST, READY IN NO TIME

While you are waiting, line a baking sheet or anything that works with wax paper.  After the thirty-minute wait, form the balls (use a spoon for consistency).  You may need to wash your hands a few times because they will get sticky. Place them on the baking sheet and refrigerate. They will be ready to eat in no time.  This is a great healthy snack to pop in your bag when you are on the run.  So get your power balls on with this sweet recipe!  Trisha really knew what she was doing with these!
