Tree Brides Activists Marry Trees Instead of Men, Why

ACTIVISTS MARRY TREES BECAUSE THEY COULD AND IT MATTERS MORE

Some women are fed up with men.  Some women don’t even want to attempt to play for the other team.  And some women like trees.  So much so, that they are marrying trees.  These tree brides are not committed to a relationship.  And yet they are committing to trees!  This is probably the woman for you.  Simple, yet unafraid of judgement.  A group of women in Oaxaca, Mexico, all had weddings to trees. The grooms were trees. The brides are obviously some kind of activists. It was a mass marriage, which is much better than a mass suicide.  But the men who lost their chances may feel they have no other choice than to kill themselves or join their positive cult of trees.  Hey baby, why’d you marry a tree?

TREE MARRIAGES ARE NOT LEGALLY BINDING, BUT SHOULD BE FOR ALL TREE BRIDES

Sadly, for all other activists out there, the marriages aren’t legally binding.  But one of the tree brides said it’s a very serious commitment. By committing to the tree, they are also committing to all of nature. In the heart, it is extremely binding. An organization called Bedani promoted this mass symbolic gesture.  They called it “marry a tree”.  But when it comes to protecting the environment, we’re not out of the woods yet.  Maybe don’t run out and marry a tree, but you can do other things to promote environmental protections.
