OREGON MAN AND HIS DOG SURVIVE 5 DAYS TRAPPED IN CAR ON NOTHING BUT TACO SAUCE
So this is nuts and kind of amazing. An Oregon man, Jeremy Taylor, 36, survived 5 days trapped in his car with his dog. So how did they survive? They ate taco sauce. No, really, this is for real! They went out in his Toyota 4Runner three Sundays ago to get some gas. But then they got stuck in some heavy snow. So they slept in the car overnight. But when they woke up, more snow had fallen which left them totally trapped with no way to get out. That’s how they spent 5 days on a forest road near Sunriver, Oregon.
THEY TRIED TO WALK OUT, BUT THE SNOW WAS JUST TOO DAMN DEEP
Taylor is one of those really active outdoorsman types. So he realized what he had to do for he and his dog to survive both the cold and their hunger. He would occasionally start the engine for heat and the two survived by eating the few packets of taco sauce that happened to be in the car. So I know what you’re thinking. Why didn’t they just walk out? Taylor tried that. But the snow was just too deep to walk through. They would eventually have frozen without getting anywhere. Someone put out a missing person’s report three days later, noting that Taylor didn’t have a phone with him.
LUCKY MAN PROCLAIMS HIS LOVE, BECAUSE “TACO BELL FIRE SAUCE SAVES LIVES!”
But it wasn’t until Friday that a snowmobile rider found both Taylor and his dog, Ally. After 5 days, they were in “good condition, but hungry.” Go figure! Taco sauce ain’t much to eat for 5 whole days! Taylor later posted on Facebook, “Thank you everyone, I’m safe my Ally dog is safe. I really appreciate all the help. Got lucky, lets (sic) never do that again. I’ll be in touch with everyone soon.” But he also showed Taco Bell some love in a reply to a comment, saying, “Taco Bell fire sauce saves lives!”
