Thick Nostril Hair Extensions About to Be a New Trend

NEW TREND OR CRAZINESS? THICK, NOSTRIL HAIR EXTENSIONS

New trend?  Or is this the Millennial brain on drugs?  So maybe that’s not totally fair.  I do get it, that fashion trends are occasionally beyond slightly weird until it’s just… normal.  But I’m having some trouble with this one.  What do you think?  Is this that special something you’ve been missing in your life?  So will, thick, nose hair extensions help you represent your own personal style just a bit more?  As someone approaching looking down the barrel of half a century, I’m not too keen on this one.  Nose hair is the LAST thing I’m looking to get MORE of.  My nostrils are, it seems, increasingly trendy all on their own.

WHEN IT COMES TO NOSTRIL HAIR, I THOUGHT LESS IS MORE?

So when it comes to nostril hair, I used to never think about it at all.  But now my reflex is that less is more.  But now, thanks to Instagrammer @gret_chen_chen, more is going to be, like, way more.  So I do understand that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.  That’s pretty much how I’ve survived by being completely disconnected from haute couture.  Well, and from the trickle-down effect to every local Target store.  But this one truly mystifies me!  Just look at all the people who have used the tag, #nosehairextentions!  It’s clearly nothing to sneeze at.  Actually, please don’t.  That could start a riot.

So @gret_chen_chen didn’t start her aesthetic explorations with thick nose hair extensions.  She started with the classics, like false eyelashes.  But she didn’t stop there.  I suppose hair both here AND there wet her whistle.  But for the curious, we’re not too sure that putting eyelash glue up your nostril is a great idea.  But some really are ready to suffer what’s needed to look…. Perfect.  So regardless if you do or do not pursue this hirsute nasal passage, did you know that your nose hair grows .35 mm every single day?  Plus, it’s there to protect us from nasty things in the air.

So who knows?  Maybe we’ll all be doing this soon as a healthcare practice!
