TOP 4 ROLLERCOASTERS OF 2018
I have ridden a lot of rollercoasters, and honestly? They all seem basically the same. EXCEPT for these top 4 rollercoasters that are the best in 2018. These four are incredible and you should go try them out. I was terrified of rollercoasters my entire life until I was sixteen. My best friend decided to have her birthday at Six Flags and we were all going to go. I was terrified because I didn’t ride rollercoasters, and I didn’t want to have to go on any. But we got to the park and I had this feeling that I wanted to try my first loop. Well, I did, and the rest is history. I freaking loved it and have ridden coasters ever since. Here are four that surprised me (in a great way) this year.

1. Wonder Woman Golden Lasso (Six Flags Fiesta Texas, San Antonio, Tex.) – this ride looks and feels like Wonder Woman’s Lasso of Truth. It is thin and curved and yellow and is made of just one rail. The ride is a single-file line of eight riding along her lasso and twisting into the sky on a ride that feels like it’s all your own.
2. Time Traveler (Silver Dollar City, Branson, Mo.) – this coaster is, apparently, the fastest, tallest and steepest complete-circuit spinning ride in the world. The coaster has already begun to spin as you embark on a 10-story drop, and that’s only the beginning.

3. Steel Vengeance (Cedar Point, Sandusky, Ohio) – this ride is the world’s tallest hybrid coaster (made from an old wooden frame and steel rail from a previous ride) at 205 feet. It also contains a 90-degree drop right at the start. This ride has it all, which is maybe more than it needs, but you be the judge of that.
4. Hang Time (Knott’s Berry Farm, Buena Park, Calif.) – this ride may seem cute (it is turquoise, after all) but it is NOT. It features one of those crazy tick-tick-tick up to the top moments before pausing (so you can look down) and then plunging you to depths you didn’t think possible.
