AUTHORITIES CHARGE TEACHER WHO FED SICK PUPPY TO SNAPPING TURTLE IN FRONT OF STUDENTS
So you may not have heard about the asshole teacher who fed a sick puppy to a snapping turtle in front of his students. But if you didn’t, yes, that happened. This happened right here in the US of A in Preston, Idaho. The teacher was one Robert Crosland, who used to teach at Preston Junior High School and had for years. Now, authorities have finally charged Crosland with a misdemeanor and animal cruelty. Just imagine being one of the students who witnessed this horror. Now just imagine being the parent of one of those kids. Awful. As a parent I really don’t know what I’d do.

SNAPPING TURTLE EUTHANIZED AFTER HORRIFIC CLASS EVENT
Authorities humanely euthanized the turtle after the educational puppy sacrifice this past march, as snapping turtles are an invasive species. Crosland faces a maximum of 6 months in jail and up to $5,000 in fines. I’m not sure how he won’t be. So far Crosland has not been available to speak to any US Media outlets who have tried to contact him. Crosland literally fed a sick, living puppy to a snapping turtle in front of a small number of his students. School authorities made it clear that it had nothing to do with school activities. That’s not too surprising. Otherwise the school would also be under serious fire, too.

PETITIONS ERUPT ON BOTH SIDES FOR TEACHER WHO KILLED SICK PUPPY
Th Idaho State Department of Agriculture only seized the turtle after it discovered Crosland had no permit for the snapping turtle. Several petitions erupted both for and against Crosland being fired. One for firing said, “Do we really want teachers killing living animals in front of impressionable junior high students?” That petition got almost 190,000 signatures. PETA also said Crosland is “a bully who should not be allowed near impressionable young people”. But a supporting petition for Crosland only garnered 3,700 signatures. That seems to be about right. Right?
