WOMAN THINKS TACO BELL IS RACIST FOR NOT HAVING FRIES
Another day, another story about a fast-food-rage incident. As a person with fairly regular hanger issues, I can certainly attest to the snippy, even caustic state that seems to be the norm for people who get hangry when they don’t eat on time, or at all. But this incident continues to flesh out just how stupid people can be, especially when they feel the need to share the stupid as this woman so successfully did. The still-unidentified woman felt the need to repeatedly call Taco Bell staff racist for not having French Fries. And by repeatedly, the woman kept attempting to order French Fries and reacted each time by calling the staff racist for not selling French Fries at a Taco Bell.
IDIOT OR HANGRY? CAN’T HAVE FRIES WITH THAT SHAKE
This story went somewhat viral as someone also present at the Taco Bell recorded the woman’s brilliant behavior on a video, proving that Shadenfreude doesn’t actually apply to all such situations. “Medium size fries” was the woman’s recurring demand, only to cycle back to extra-large stupidity each time she was informed Taco Bell doesn’t sell French Fries. But to show how hanger can diminish even the greatest of minds, the woman’s reply at least once was, “You’re Burger King, you don’t sell French fries?”
WOMAN CALLED TACO BELL STAFF RACIST NOT BURGER KING, STILL WANTS FRENCH FRIES
So obviously the Taco Bell staffer lets the poor woman know she’s in Taco Bell and not Burger King, reiterating yet again that Taco Bell doesn’t do hamburgers or French fries. Ready to take the order again, the struggling patron again asks for…… French Fries. But the woman at last seems to understand that Taco Bell does not, in fact, serve French Fries, and then asks the employee to read the entire menu to her. The employee declines and the woman then proceeds to get more hangry that the staff person is being mean and that “This is racism at it’s f—ing finest. Taco Bell staff racist as all hell”
FAST FOOD NATION HAS ADD, BEFORE AND AFTER MEALS
It seems possible that there was more than hanger at work with this woman’s confusion, but there have been so many of these stories, even with appalling violence, that it’s hard to know what’s going on these days in fast food restaurants. Maybe we are a fast food nation, which begs the question about what happens if you are what you eat? In one final gasp at irony, if the woman returns to Taco Bell in the coming months, the chain may have, in fact, added French Fries to their menu by then. But it will still be no Home of the Whopper.
