TO “STOP THE STEAL” AGAIN, STEVE BANNON WANTS ICE AGENTS SURROUNDING NOVEMBER POLLS
It seems Steve Bannon still feels like he’s a relevant player in today’s politics. We don’t hear from him all that much in the mainstream anymore. But he does have his “War Room” podcast on and from which he pontificates his brilliance as he sees fit. And he must still have an audience. Because if there was no commercial return, there’s no way he’d take the time to make the effort. Anyways, Bannon just hoisted a doozy on Democracy’s petard on his show by saying that he wants ICE agents surrounding polls this November for the Midterm elections. In his own words, it was, “We’re going to have ICE surround the polls come November. We’re not going to sit here and allow you to steal the country again.”

Huh. It’s funny, that line about “you,” meaning Democratic voters, meaning minorities, legal immigrants, recently naturalized citizens, LGBTQ and most especially trans people. But it’s also funny, that line about all those “you’s” “stealing” the country, “again.” I can’t help but notice how Steve Bannon is spouting this nonsense after Trump directed an FBI raid on Georgia’s election offices. None other than Tulsi Gabbard, the Director of National Intelligence, led the FBI raid itself, and then arranged a call between Trump and the agents, who confiscated voting records from the “stolen” 2020 election.

But it’s also funny how Tulsi Gabbard is the one handling the (supposed) release of the Epstein Files, and how that handling is protecting rich criminals and not protecting victims. And then it’s funny how much Steve Bannon appears in these most recent files, and how in contact he was over many years with none other than Jeffrey Epstein himself, after Epstein was a convicted sex offender. There’s just so much funny here, it’s hard to control the sarcasm. But the midterms are coming, and if recent special elections and polls are any indication, hell is coming with them. I’m not sure if we’ll actually see ICE agents as private army intimidating voters this November. But that’s the least these clowns will need to stop the investigations that are coming in January.
