IN TRUMP’S AMERICA, WHITE SOUTH AFRICAN “REFUGEES” GET FAST-TRACKED TO AMERICA
Another day, and another awareness of something appalling happening in the United States with Donald Trump as President. This time, it’s about refugees, racism as policy, and historic irony that’s painful to apprehend. But we should all apprehend, as it involves how America is processing refugees. But in particular, it is which refugees that are getting processed. Because America is now fast-tracking white South African “refugees” and it’s such a bad look, we should all be shy of passing in front of any mirrors. And before you try to make the case that there are white people needing rapid escape from South Africa to the United States, think again.

WHITE SOUTH AFRICANS FORCED TO GIVE UP BULK OF THEIR COLONIAL LAND HOLDINGS
So, what could possibly make a white person into a desperate to get to America refugee? Persecution, of course. But what kind of persecution could a white South Afrikaner be suffering? Well, equality for one. And that means they no longer enjoy being the exclusive power -make that colonial power- in South Africa. But specifically, it means they were no longer to keep all of their colonial-era land. You know, land that white people completely took over to the disadvantage of non-white locals? Does it mean they lost all of their land? Why, no. But no longer owning everything makes them refugees in Trump’s America.

And the context is even worse. Because while we’re now fast-tracking White South African “refugees,” we’ve closed the door on people who are literally trying to escape war zones and the kind of persecution that can kill you. But those people aren’t lily white in terms of skin tone. And we’re also gifting these white South African “refugees” with prepaid cell phones and clothing when they arrive here in America, after they only waited a few weeks at most to get approved. Meanwhile, we’re sitting on allowing 12,000 other approved refugees to come to America to start a new, safe life.
I wonder what color they are, and what countries they’re from….
