Snow Removal Specialist goes HAM and Uses Flamethrower on Driveway

SNOW REMOVAL MADE FUN VIA FLAMETHROWER

A man who hates snow removal went HAM last week on his driveway.  How you might ask? He took the drastic measure of clearing the snow with a flamethrower. Nathanel Caplinger is his name. and has spent many day in the past month clearing a path for his car in west Virginia the conventional way, with a shovel. After several winter storms he has decided enough is enough.

EFFICIENCY GOES HAM, DRIVEWAY IS CLEAN

He finally decided enough was enough – and decided to go out and purchase a flamethrower to help him clear the driveway more efficiently. Caplinger claims the process works beautifully. He first considered the idea after seeing an advertisement in a magazine for a blowtorch (you know those ones for the kitchen). Then Nathanel decided that if he upgraded that blowtorch he could do more than just sear meat in the kitchen.  He went out and bought a full fledged flamethrower and uses it as a snow removal tool.

ALTHOUGH IT WORKS LIKE A CHARM, RULES STILL IN PLACE

But while it might clear snow away in just a few seconds, Mr Caplinger warns that there are a few essential rules you need to follow. Speaking to TheBlot, he said: “Make sure there’s no flammables nearby. “Make sure it’s only what you want to burn, make sure afterward [to] hang out for about a half hour, make sure nothing reignites.”

OBEY THE LAWS BEFORE BECOMING YOUR ONW SNOW REMOVAL SPECIALIST

Mr Caplinger said he had read up on state and local laws. Also consulting with local officials before he made the purchase.  Public safety officials in the area said that while the method worked for Nathanel, it might not be for everybody. Anyone considering purchasing and using such a device should contact the authorities first.
