The safest and fastest way to turn a guy into a girl is...

Most guys fantasize about girls more than a dozen times a day. Research shows when a guy takes a break, the first thing on his mind is when to have sex with a girl (if you are straight of course, no offense to the LGBT community). The more fat a man takes in from his daily diet, the more likely he could turn himself into a woman.  Fun enough?

As you wind down from the cold of January and fear the even worse weather of February and March, do your New Year’s resolutions wane? There is one perk to wearing thick winter gear (aside from warmth), however: it hides your love handles and jiggly paunch.

Sadly, you may catch a TV glimpse of The Bachelor on an island in his swimsuit and his fit bod may make you feel … well … girly. It only worsens during the Olympics. Those athletic Ken dolls can set off a little Whoville voice singing, “I’m not sexy and I know it. Don’t look at my body, don’t look at my body.” You’ll stick your fingers in your ears and say, “I can’t hear you.”

Resolutions schmedgolutions. Comfort food is calling. A denial system sets in, that powerful protective thinking that makes you justify another piece of hot apple pie. Your denial does not want to be denied. You think, “Aw, a few extra pounds aren’t so bad. Who keeps resolutions anyway?”

Yo, dudes. Wake up!

Take the Test

Take off your clothes and look straight down. If you can’t see your penis, you’re too fat. That excess blubber may turn your once lean, manly machine into a testosterone-sucking, estrogen-producing bod. And that’s not all — roly-poly men make less sperm.

Is Your Manhood Threatened?

Body fat contains something called aromatase, which is an enzyme that converts testosterone into estrogen. When that happens, your body gets its signals crossed and begins to create even more estrogen.

Bottom Line

When you’re making less testosterone and more estrogen, there’s a good chance you’ll pick up some female qualities like man breasts.

More to Freak Out About

As men age and worry about losing their hair, and libido, they have even more to fret about. You may not know it but, when the average dude hits 30, his muscles get mushier at the rate of about 1 percent per year. By 35, he’ll begin to lose 1 to 2 percent of his testosterone every year — and that’s regardless of whether or not he’s fat. By the time you turn 50 and start thinking about joining AARP, you may enter the zone of the 33 percent who fall below normal on the testosterone chart. When you round the bend to age 60, more than half of you males will plummet to low, low, lower testosterone.

The Road to Rotund

As you age, your metabolism slows down. If you’re not watching what you eat — and even if you are — you can begin putting on an extra pound of fat per year. There is some good news, fellas. You have it in your power to start February with healthier practices.

What to Do

The obvious answer is to eat healthier and lay off the trans fats. Here are recommendations from medical professionals:

  • Drink less alcohol. Liquor can affect liver function and may increase estrogen levels.
  • Up your exercise. Even 20 minutes more per session can make a difference.
  • Eat post-workout. Whey protein after a workout can help build muscle, burn fat, and increase testosterone.
  • Get more zinc. Eat zinc-rich foods or take 40 mg of a zinc supplement daily.
  • Get more vitamin D. Eat vitamin D-rich foods or take a D3 supplement daily.
  • Limit sugar. Testosterone levels decrease after you eat sugar.
  • Eat healthy fats: nuts, avocados, fish and olive oil are good choices.
  • Get enough sleep.
  • Reduce stress.
  • Have more sex!
  • Try to ultimate test: If a naked man looks straight down and can’t see his penis, he is too fat.
