RUSSIAN HORROR AS CANNIBAL COUPLE DISCOVERED
In what can only be described as a real-life horror story, reports of a Russian couple that ate at least 30 people have disturbed the world. The two cannibals have likely been practicing their grisly murder diet for over 20 years. The human-hungry lovebirds kept their victims’ remains in a freezer as well as saline-filled jars. In what can only freak out anyone ever possibly involved, the cannibals used to supply “frozen meat pieces” to an area military academy. As Michael Douglas once said, don’t eat the fish.
COUPLE ATE AT LEAST 30 PEOPLE OVER 20 YEARS, UNDISCOVERED
Earlier this month police took Natalia Baksheev, 42, as well as her husband Dmitry Baksheev, 35, into custody. But it wasn’t diligent police work nor suspicious behavior that brought the two savages into the public light, it was a complete accident. City workers found what appeared to be a discarded cell phone on the street which contained macabre selfies that included clear and graphic photos of dismembered human bodies. One photo that appeared in local media shows Dmitry Baksheev posing with what was described as “different parts” of a human’s remains in his mouth, according to Russia’s interior ministry.

Following their arrest, the pair then confessed to eating as many as 30 people, a few of whom possibly may have been lured into the Baksheev’s apartment via Russian online dating sites. Once they were in the snare, investigators believe the couple drugged their victims before murdering them.

The investigation continues and police have still not yet confirmed many details of the case. So far, only Dmitry Baksheev has been charged with one count of murder. However, the case may end up being one of the deadliest of its kind in Russia and also follows revelations earlier this year related to an 18-year reign of terror by a serial killer nicknamed “the werewolf.”

LOCAL MILITARY CADETS MAY ALSO HAVE EATEN HUMAN MEAT
Mikhail Popkov, a retired police officer, confessed earlier this year to killing 82 people aged 17 to 38 between the years 1992 and 2010. He also raped all of his victims. “In one life, I was an ordinary person. In my other life, I committed murders, which I carefully concealed from everyone, realizing this was a criminal offense,” he testified in his trial.
In the Baksheev cannibal case one of the couple’s neighbors, a former nurse, said to the Moskovsky Komsomolets newspaper that Natalia Baksheev used to make and sell pies to supplement her income. Incredibly and disgustingly, she would tell local cafe owners they were filled with “whatever’s around.”
Investigators have also said that husband and wife both at one time worked at the military academy, but in what capacity, and when, is not yet known.
