RESEARCHERS FINALLY START TO UNDERSTAND COVID INFECTIONS AND BRAIN DAMAGE
Brain damage? So it’s pretty much 2021! Um, yay. Because what happened in 2020 is still happening. And will continue to for quite a while, it seems. But even worse, we keep learning how the waves from the Covid splash will tsunami our lives for years. And at worst, those tsunamis will drown us the rest of our damn lives. Economy? Nah. I mean, of course. But not the economy, or politics, or whatever these vaccines will mean. All of those WILL be factors in our lives. But this here little bitty is about brain damage from Covid infections. Researchers have started to realize how serious this will be.

COVID VICTIMS’ BRAINS DAMAGE LOOKED LIKE STROKES, OTHER SERIOUS AND DEADLY PROBLEMS
So yes, we’ve heard about neurological issues resulting from Covid infections. Long-term issues from no return of the sense of smell all the way to psychosis. And yes, that’s quite the scary range. But when you hear the term brain damage, that gets your attention in a slightly more thorough way. Like, things will never be the same. And yes, because Covid, things will NEVER be the same again. For anyone. But for some that we’re just now learning some details about, that will be especially true. That’s because Covid can cause seriously damaging inflammation in some folks’ brains that can look as serious as strokes.

IT’S THE COVID SURVIVORS WE WILL STILL NEED TO LEARN ABOUT, LASTING BRAIN DAMAGE ISSUES
So no, this study didn’t look at survivors of Covid-19. They looked at the remains of 19 Covid victims. And the researchers didn’t’ expect what they found at all. The victims brains they looked at ranged in age from 5 up to 73. And they all showed signs of damaging inflammation in them all. So while none of the brains had localized Covid infections, they all suffered damage from the disease. So be sure to wear those masks. And, if you can’t smell still from your Covid infection you got over, still wear your damn mask. You can get it again. And the more we know about this brain damage, the scarier it all looks.
