CAR SALESMAN COMES TO THE RESCUE OF FALLEN GRANDMA
It’s Monday, so it’s definitely time for a feel good story. Ok, we had to go the UK to find this one. But it’s a good human, good Samaritan story. A pensioner or, as we call them on this side of the pond, a retiree, fell at home and couldn’t get up. She’s a grandma and her name is Mrs. Richardson and she lives in Blythe, Northumberland. The fallen grandma was alone and needed help. But when she realized she couldn’t stand up, she called for help. Somehow, she didn’t manage to call for emergency services. She called her local BMW dealer! So the car salesman came to her rescue. We need more stories like this!

LOOKING FOR HER GRANDDAUGHTER, SHE CALLED BMW DEALER BY MISTAKE
His name is Dang Vuong. He was working that Sunday morning when the phone rang. But It was an unusual call. Mrs. Richardson had been trying to call her granddaughter but called the BMW dealer by mistake. But it was the right number, after all! Vuong immediately understood she needed help. So he quickly tried to find Mrs. Richardson’s location. He said, “I Googled her address after she gave the postcode and jumped in my car and went there straight away.” So that’s how he came to find her lying on the floor of her bathroom. The fall left her nose, chin and the side of one cheek covered in dried blood. This must have been scary for her.

He continued, “She was quite lost but she was functioning and talking. She didn’t know how she got there, so she was quite upset but she was alright. Hearing her voice, she was a bit shaky. That’s why I kept asking if she was hurting anywhere else, or if there was anything else that made her fall. I scooped her up and made sure she was alright. I placed her on the sofa and put a blanket around her legs.” He then immediately caller he family and they came over straight away. By the time they arrived, Vuong was almost done making a pot of tea for everyone. Rescue complete, he then went straight back to work once he knew the fallen grandma was safe.
Now that salesman is no lemon!
