Political Fuming: California Could Run Out of Gas In a Month

ALL THE POLITICAL FUMING CAN’T OBSCURE THE FACT THAT CALIFORNIA WILL RUN OUT OF GAS IN 4-6 WEEKS

I’m guessing that the phrase “running on fumes” will still be used decades after everyone stops using gas or oil, and there will be that first generation of kids that use it without knowing where it comes from. But clearly we’re not anywhere near that human history milestone yet. In fact, we’re in a nebulously dangerous age where world elites are jockeying to own it all, and profit as much as possible while they have leverage. And while Israel fluffing Trump into attacking Iran isn’t on that dance card, there’s still a lot of market manipulation under the disco ball, leaving the energy market chugging along like a fantasy. But despite all the political fuming, reality is about to bite. Hard. Which is why the state of California could literally run out of gas in a month.

So what is the fantasy and why is that obscuring our view of the energy market reality? Well, ever since the US and Israel attacked Iran, Donald Trump has very pointedly said the war is over, there’s a cease fire, we’re going to end them, we’re negotiating, we’re escorting, and then some form of rinse repeat. Many of these comments have circled weekends allowing someone(s) to make a killing on oil futures in both directions. And the price of oil has bounced accordingly, with the trickle down affect edging ever upward at the gas pump. So what does this have to do with California running out of gas in 4-6 weeks?

THE OIL SUPPLY CHAIN IS DEPLETED, AND CALIFORNIA JUST DOCKED THE LAST SHIP THRU THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ

Well, everything. Because while someone(s) making money on speculation, and Big Oil is making a killing at our expense, the one thing that hasn’t changed is actual supply. Because the speculation market plays the game not only of expectation when it comes to available supply, it also assumes that the supply will replenish the entire supply chain. But that hasn’t happened, and the supply chain is literally drying up, meaning we can’t actually deliver gasoline and diesel enough not only to supply demand, but to have on hand at all. California has a 4-6 week supply of gas and diesel at any time, and the very last tanker of crude that made it thru the Strait of Hormuz just arrived in Long Beach.

And sure, California does of course import a nominal amount of gas and diesel from overseas. But only enough to satisfy maybe 25% of demand. And guess what happens when foreign markets need to keep all their own supply? We’re being told not to worry by our political leaders, they have a fix. I’m thinking we’re all about to have a bad trip to nowhere under the fantasy disco ball.
