A KIDNEY NEEDED A SPECIAL DELIVERY FOR A TRANSPLANT, AND FAST, BUT A POLICE LAMBORGHINI?
So I have to start approaching this with, there is a police Lamborghini in Italy? And yes, the answer it totally yes. And that is, in fact, a picture of said police Lamborghini right there in front of you. I’m fairly certain that not I, nor you, nor anyone, will ever see a police Lamborghini anywhere in the United States. And no, the Ferrari in Miami Vice doesn’t count. But this hot police car just made a special delivery that no other car on the force could. It delivered a transplant kidney over 300 miles in just 2 hours!

POLICE LAMBORGHINI AVERAGED 145 MPH, WENT FROM ROME TO PADUA FAST FAST FAST
So, no, I don’t know why they didn’t’ have or use a police helicopter. I’m guessing they just didn’t have one. But since they did have a crazy police Lamborghini, they went with that instead. And by went, I mean with crazy pickup and cornering like it was on rails. They left Rome in a hurry, and arrived in Padua about two hours later. The average speed? Oh, not too fast, just 145 mph. And I’m sure they had the flashing lights on the whole time. This is one of the few things that makes my inner geek want to be a cop. Well, ok. Only briefly.

NORMALLY, THE POLICE LAMBORGHINI HANDLES TRAFFIC DUTY, BUT THIS WAS SPECTACULAR FUN
So if you know your Lamborghini cars, you already know what I’m about to explain. Well, even if you do, it’s still slobber worthy. That police Lamborghini is the Huracan. The Italian police have used it for the last 3 plus years. With a top speed of just over 200 mph, it is a true beast. I mean, it does sport a V10 602 Horsepower 5.2 liter engine, after all. While its intended use was to quickly ferry medical supplies to the field, it also works as a traffic car. No matter what you drive, you’re not getting away from this police Lamborghini. But some lucky person got their new kidney transplant in time, thanks to this beast and some amazing driving.
