DYING COP WRITES LETTER, SAYING THE NYPD AND FBI HELPED TO KILL MALCOLM X
So I remember when I had no idea who Malcolm X was. Well, except for whatever references I saw about that angry black man from yesteryear. It wasn’t until I saw Spike Lee’s film that I started to have a clue. You know, that this “militant” was a warrior for… peace. And a lot of people really didn’t like that, black or white. So someone, or someones, killed him. Just like Martin Luther King, Jr. And a long list of others. But we “assumed” that it was some people from the Nation of Islam that killed Malcolm X, since 1965. But a dying cop has reopened old, unhealed wounds, saying there was a conspiracy to kill him by someone else. The NYPD and the FBI.

MALCOLM X’S DAUGHTERS WANT MURDER CASE OPEN, NEW INVESTIGATION
So where the hell is this coming from? A letter that New York police officer Raymond Wood wrote on his deathbed. So you might say that this is incendiary news. And, well, it is. But it should be. As you might imagine, some people learned of this and want a second, and official, look at what really happened. While I’m totally in that line, Malcolm X’s daughters are at the very front. They are asking, in no uncertain terms, that their father’s murder case be reopened. Quite frankly, I’m not certain how it was ever a closed case. But of course, his killers went to jail. Just not those who orchestrated it. You know, conspiracy to commit?

NYPD SAYS THEY’VE SAID IT ALL ABOUT MALCOLM X MURDER, AND THE FBI SAYS NOTHING AT ALL
So what has the official response been? Well, the NYPD has taken the position that they have already given all “relevant” records to the DA. But what possibly could the NYPD think is relevant? Likely, just documentation that the world has already seen, with nothing to boomerang back at them. And hey, the NYPD has a black eye from one of their retired own who assaulted Capitol Police, with a pipe no less. But what about the FBI’s position on who really killed Malcolm X? Well, the FBI has said absolutely not a thing. I’m sensing some awkward FOIA’s that never really achieve any satisfaction. Stay tuned.
