PIGS ARE SMART, GOOD PETS, NOT NAKED COMPANIONS
Pigs are smart animals. And beautiful creatures. Some people have pet pigs. There is an amazing service called Pig Placement Network that helps navigate the adoption and placement of portbellied pigs. They start off with asking you questions that help lead you to answers. Like is a pig right for you? They offer you the pros and cons of caring for pigs, especially portbellied pigs. A guy named Larry William Henry loves pigs. Maybe just a lot too much, so much so that he is not allowed near any pigs, ever. He was found buck naked in a hog barn, and that’s all kinds of wrong. Authorities have now banned him from all pig contact. But there’s no word about bacon.
SICK MAN FOUND NAKED AND DRUNK IN A HOG BARN BECAUSE HE “LIKES PIGS”
Authorities found him drunk and buck naked in a hog barn near Millersville, Pennsylvania in June of last year. When they confronted him, he responded by saying that he just likes pigs. The sixty-four-year old man had just finished drinking a six-pack of beer. He was very familiar with this pig farm as there was another trespassing incident back in 2011. The owners subsequently banned him from the property. But obviously he found a way to get back in the barn. Police charged him with indecent exposure, criminal and defiant trespass and public drunkenness. Authorities released him on a $25,000 unsecured bail. And he should think long and hard if he decides to harass these poor pigs again.

Liking pigs this much makes you think of a creepy episode of Black Mirror. Hopefully that’s no one’s reality! According to the Pig Placement Network, hogs bite, however, they do so when competing for attention. In this case they must have been desperately doing the opposite. The owners of this pig farm may want to get better security for their hog barn or better yet, bring in their pigs. Just in case.
