MYSTERIOUS CANADIAN LEAVES $100 BILLS AND UPLIFTING NOTES FOR ANYONE TO FIND
So this is the kind of thing that should happen more often. There’s some mysterious Canadian person who has been leaving $100 bills (Canadian) along with uplifting notes for anyone who finds them in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia. But seriously, more of this please. Especially here in the United States. Bill Gates? Any of the Murdochs? How about the Walton family? But sure, I want to say the Trumps. But who know how rich they really are anyway? Anyway, someone North of the Wall is totally amazing. But who knows? Maybe this will turn into reality TV next year.

WITH ALL THE DREADED BAD NEWS IN THE WORLD, WE NEED MORE RANDOM GOODWILL LIKE THIS
But we do really need more stories like this. We’ve got global warming (and denial), separated families at the border, warmongers pointing at Iran, trade wars, etc, etc, etc. If you watch the news or just struggle to pay your mortgage with a salary 30 years out of date, this is uplifting just to hear about. But so far, you can only find this amazingness in New Glasgow. Well, more specifically, in a park there in a gazebo. Local residents are pretty much delighted but are also intrigued at the mysterious manna from someone out there.

NOTE WANTED FINDER TO BUY SOMETHING FOR HAPPINESS, AND TO REMEMBER GOODNESS IN THE WORLD
One bill in particular had been taped in the gazebo along with a note. The note encouraged whoever found it to use the money on something that would make them happy. But also to remember that there is good in the world. That is certainly a sentiment we should spread far and wide. That note ended up in the hands of local resident Doug Miller. He was in the park’s gazebo while setting up for a funding announcement the following weekend. The note read:
To whoever finds this $100 bill — it is yours! I hope it will bring you joy and that you will use it for your enjoyment. Always know that there is good in the world and joy to be found. I hope you know, or will learn, that you are priceless and worth more than any paper or plastic. I hope you will always choose to be happy.
